Christmas decor
We finally put the tree up a couple of days ago and I wanted to share how it all turned out. We always buy a real tree so the timing has to be right or you are left with a really dried out crispy tree by Christmas! Believe me, I know this from past experience. The tree is in a new spot this year since doing some redecorating and I didn't think it would fit but with a little tree trimming we managed to tuck it in the corner of the living room. I was very minimal this year with other Christmas decor and I only added a few things to the room. Please don't judge me on the ornament placement, my kids like to be involved and I had to let go of my usual control issues.

Where did you get the fabulous Twigs for your Bar cart? If you like me, you "borrow" them from where ever you can.... Ha! Looks lovely in your new space and very uncluttered. Nice.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Andrea! I Love your space :) x
ReplyDeleteNice! You've got so many great pieces in your home already - minimal is a perfect way to go!
ReplyDeleteYour home is gorgeous Andrea!! I know what you mean about letting go of control and letting the kids have a good time decorating:)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Even the tree :) My kids hang my ornaments as well and we don't have a "theme" per se either. Simple is best! Missed you Saturday!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a beautiful home! I'm new to your blog and LOVE it! Where is your starburst mirror from? I just bought a cheapie $25 one from target and painted it gold, but it's pretty small. I love the size of yours:)
ReplyDeleteHi Megan, I've been following you for awhile! I found the mirror a few years ago at Homesense. It has been moving around my home from one place to another. Thanks for your nice comment!

Love those little club chairs upholstered in a graphic print! I recently spied some at Pal and Smith in burgundy velvet that were oh so luscious...similar shape but over $2000 each! Crazy, but so couture! Your home is lovely!
