These pictures were from last week of the entry/mudroom/powder room. I'm not sure if I'm sold on the red closets. I probably would have played it safe and gone cream!

Sarah's back!
I have decided to do a weekly blurb on Sarah Richardson's new season of Sarah's House on HGTV. I have been watching her since the very beginning when she did a show called Room Service. She was very crafty back then and I remember thinking wow this girl can do a lot with buttons! I have always loved her approach to design and how good she is at mixing pattern and texture. Make sure you check it out. For more about Sarah you can look her up at http://www.sarahricharsondesign.com/.

Work in progress
I have been working on a few rooms in my home for awhile and slowly but surely they are coming along. Sometimes painfully slow!!! Anyway, here is a shot of the one wall in my bedroom. I will post more pictures soon.

My new love
Okay maybe not so new but definitely one of my favorite patterns. Quatrefoil means a representation of a flower with four petals or a leaf with four leaflets. It seems as though interior designer Suzanne Kasler (don't get me started on how much I love her!) also has an appreciation for quatrefoil. Check out Suzanne styling a few rooms on the Ballard Designs website www.ballarddesigns.com. Here are a few of my picks. Enjoy!
