Finally!!

Anthropologie is coming to the westcoast!  It's one of my favourite go to stores for all things fashionable and I know all of my fellow westcoasters are just as excited as I am.  It will be opening in May on South Granville in Vancouver.  Yeah!!

Basement blahs no more

Anyone tune in to see the fab basement on Sarah 101?  I loved the fabric choices for the drapes, chairs and other accents.  It was a great use of space and a clever idea on how she used shelving units to divide the different zones.

So many products so little time

I am constantly on the lookout for all sorts of things that make a space beautiful.  Everything from large pieces of furniture to the perfect accessories and along the way I find myself becoming attached to some of these things.  I keep a file hoping that a space will come along that perfectly suits whatever it is I'm dying to use!  I guess you could call it an occupational hazard.  Am I the only one who becomes attached to things like wallpaper, lighting and coffee tables?  These are some of my recent obsessions on the waiting list:)

Crazy for shoes

I am in need of some new shoes and I have been busy doing some online shopping.  It is a dangerous activity for me but you just can't beat the convenience.  I am crazy about them and can't wait for their arrival!  

Photo shoot

I had the pleasure of working with an amazing client to completely redo her main living space.  She moved to a new home and wanted to start over with a fresh new look.  We did this mostly through paint and furnishings and it turned out great!  I had the space photographed a couple of weeks ago and wanted to share a few images.  I am in the middle of putting together a new website so for now just a sneak peek.   Have a good weekend!

Tommy Smythe

Tommy Smythe was featured in Style at Home this month and I wanted to share a few pictures of his space.  My favourite room has got to be the closet!  The closet is off the rack from Ikea and he customized it by adding trim detail, paint and beautiful door knobs.  Doesn't it look beautiful?
