Bathrooms on the brain and a giveaway

I am in the middle of working on a few bathroom renos so all I'm thinking about these days is tile, counters, flooring etc....  I came across this photo and I fell in love with the wallpaper and the pretty chandelier.  

I also wanted to share with you that photographer extraordinaire Tracey Ayton is having a fantastic giveaway over at her blog today.  I just wrapped up a photo shoot with her and Tracey did an incredible job. I'll be posting some pictures soon.  Have a great Monday!

Olivia Palermo for Tibi

I came across some photos of Olivia Palermo doing an ad campaign for Tibi. She is one of my favourite fashionistas who always looks effortless.  I have already purchased the oh so chic 70's trouser jean that she is wearing in the first photo. Such a cool look that I need to be sporting this spring!

Plate walls, granny or chic??

I was having a conversation with some friends (you know who you are) over lunch last week about Sarah Richardson and her plate wall she did on the first episode of Sarah 101.  I was against it from the start and thought it was bad on every level.  So I thought I would try and find some cool plate walls to see if they would change my mind.  What I have discovered is that there is a fine line between chic and granny.  I think the key is to mix up the styles so it doesn't give off that granny vibe, you know?  After saying all that I'm still not convinced:)
